South African Airways offers earlybirds

South African Airways (SAA) has just launched a series of
new earlybird offers for travel in 2007 to South Africa from as low as
AUD1,550 ex-Perth and AUD1,650 ex-East Coast.
The tickets are currently available for sale until the 31st of January
2007, and a are valid for travel between the 16th of January 2007 to the
30th of June 2007.
Thevan Krishna, SAA Regional Manager Australia and New Zealand said,
“these fares offer great value for money and they make traveling to Africa
even more affordable. While the UK and Europe markets traditionally promote
their earlybird deals in our low season, we have decided to launch these
specials to South Africa during our summer and autumn months.
“With South Africa’s seasons the same as Australia, it’s an ideal time to
visit the country for a variety of holidays that include food and wine, the
world’s best game parks, adventure, sporting as well as historical and
cultural experiences.”
Earlybird passengers from Perth can fly return to Johannesburg for
AUD1,550, Bloemfontein, Cape Town, Durban, East London, Kimberley, Margate,
Pietermaritzburg, Port Elizabeth or Richards Bay returns are AUD1,750.
Passengers departing from the East Coast and Adelaide can reach the above
places, via Perth, with an additional AUD100. Prices exclude taxes.
The sale fares will be promoted alongside the South African Tourism
campaign starting in November, two major wholesale partners are also
involved with the project.
