Aer Lingus is the national airline of Ireland. Based in Dublin, it operates over 30 aircraft serving Europe, the United States and recently Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The airline is 85% owned by the Irish government; however the Government has recently approved the privatisation of the company. Aer Lingus is a member of the oneworld airline alliance, though has announced its intention to leave during 2007. The company employs 4,000 people and has revenue of €906.8 million as of 2004.
